This print was originally commissioned as a book cover to illustrate 'The Book-Makers : A History of Bookmaking' by Adam Smyth, told through the lives of 18 people who took it in radical new directions: printers and binders, publishers and artists, paper-makers and library founders. Both this original print and the book itself are a must for all print lovers.
