In 2012 Leicester became famous for finding Richard III in a car park and he was entombed, with all relevant and reverent pomp and circumstance in Leicester Cathedral. As a result Leicester suddenly became a magnet for tourism in a way which was a bit of a surprise for the city… the gardens around the Cathedral have been fittingly and beautifully remodelled over recent years.
