Launde Abbey in Rutland runs as a Christian Retreat and Conference Centre. It was founded as an Augustinian priory in 1119 and in 2019, together with 2 other artists, I held an exhibition of work made over the previous 12 months to coincide with their 900 years celebrations. Having just read Robert Macfarlane’s ‘Lost Words’ Mayshine perfectly described the new spring leaves of the Oak trees that are dotted up the gentle sloping hills in front of the Abbey.

Due to the nature of the hand printing process there is an inevitable slight variation within this edition. Please contact me if you require more details.
