In 2012 I was awarded a Leverhulme Artist in Residence Award in conjunction with the Leicester University’s Centre for Urban History. Over 9 months I made a series of works celebrating the city’s manufacturing past and the wealth of industrial buildings still standing, even if no longer used for their original purpose. I loved the exaggerated Nouveau lettering on this - almost reads like Corona Cool Works – which makes me smile.
